Stop Point Adjustments on Rydeen 4-Parking Sensor Kits Empty Stop Point Adjustments on Rydeen 4-Parking Sensor Kits

All of our 4-sensor Parking Sensor kits have an adjustable "Stop" position.  The "Stop" position is the stage of our sensor kits where you hear a solid tone, and means there is an object within or under 1 foot of the bumper.  Out of the box our sensors work in a 4-stage operation where the closer an object is to the bumper the quicker the beeps happen before going solid, as shown below.

Adjusting the stop point increases the distance of the "solid tone".  A perfect example of this would be a vehicle with a spare tire.  Out of the box the sensors look a foot from the bumper before initializing the stop tone.  If the spare tire stuck out more than a foot, you might hit that object.  By increasing the stop point, you can now make the spare tire the beginning of the stop point, and not the bumper as shown below.

The stop point can be increased up to three feet and the switch to do so is on the backside of the sensor brain.

Hope this covers the adjustability options on our 4-sensor kits.  If not don't hesitate to PM me or send me an email at: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
